Mogadishu, (InsideSomalia.org) Banadir administration's public affairs executive general Abdulle Mohamed Qasim was killed in Yaqshid district on Saturday night, a commissioner said.
As the chairman of Yaqshid district, Mohyadin Jurus, said the deceased man was killed as he was leaving from a mosque where he had prayed the maghrib prayer. He was attacked by four armed men with pistols.
The superintendent blamed the killing on the insurgents.
The killing of this officer comes as more than ten district commissioners were killed in Mogadishu in the last months.
Similarly, armed groups have attacked movies watching location in Shibis district north of the capital and other cinema in Shanta-Ged village in Howlwadag district on Saturday night residents said.
The assailants have tossed a hand grenade into a cinema in Shibis neighborhood as dozens of teenagers were watching sports on the cinema VDT with the bomb hit on the cinema's fascia door.
No one was hurt in that incidents but some residents said that the spectators have made light hurting stampede following immense frightening started later than when they perceived the hum of the bomb blast targeted on the cinema .
Else where one civilian died in a cinema location in Shanta Ged village of Howlwadag ward following four men armed with guns opened a fire to the movies theater site resident Abbas Aliyow said.
There have been consecutive attacks in the capital for the last months aligned with the cinemas in Mogadishu although movies watching sites in the capital became rare after sequence intimidations were sent to their owners ordering to put up the shutters their cinema positions.
